The calendar is empty or the matches have disappeared

If you’ve added the calendar but don’t see any matches, there are two common causes.

You downloaded the calendar instead of subscribing to it

There’s a difference between downloading a calendar and subscribing to it. With a download, you copy the matches into your calendar once, and new matches and results are never updated after that. With a subscription, your calendar stays automatically in sync.

Remove the downloaded version and add the calendar again using the instructions at bouwman.io/en/lab/fc-volendam-kalender. Use the button or the feed URL for that, not a downloaded .ics file.

The sync hasn’t happened yet

Calendar apps don’t always sync instantly. On Google Calendar this can take up to an hour. Wait a bit and reopen the app.

On iPhone you can speed up the sync by going to Settings → Calendar → Accounts and tapping the account to refresh it.
