Privacy Policy

Bouwman Digital Services, based in the Netherlands and reachable athallo@bouwman.io, is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. This privacy policy explains what that data is, why it's processed, how long it's kept and what rights you have.

What data we collect

The following personal data is processed through this website:

• Contact form: name, e-mail address, the service you selected and the content of your message, so we can respond to your request.
• E-mail correspondence: if you e-mail hallo@bouwman.io directly, we process whatever information you share in that correspondence.
• Analytics (only with consent): if you agree to the cookie banner, Google Analytics uses anonymised data about your visit (for example, which pages you view) to help us understand how the site is used. Without consent, Google Analytics doesn't load and nothing is collected. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Legal basis

Data from the contact form is processed because it's necessary to respond to your request (legitimate interest, and where relevant, to prepare for a potential agreement). Analytics data is only processed based on your explicit consent through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the site.

How long we keep data

Data from the contact form and e-mail correspondence is kept no longer than needed to handle your request and, if that leads to a working relationship, for as long as that relationship and the related administrative obligations require.

Who has access to your data

• E-mail runs through ProtonMail, an e-mail provider that applies end-to-end encryption and is based in the EU.
• Analytics (only with your consent) runs through Google Analytics. This can involve data processing outside the EU; Google provides the legally required safeguards for this (standard contractual clauses).
• Data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for any purpose other than what's described above.

Security

This website is only reachable over a secure HTTPS connection. Access to e-mail and underlying systems is limited to what's needed to deliver the website and the services offered through it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we process about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to the processing of your data
• Withdraw your consent for analytics at any time, via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page
